Aquastar 38 (commercial)
Yachting Brokers are pleased to offer for sale an Aquastar 38 commercial vessel with current Class VI UK Passenger Ship Certificate for 50 pax +2 crew and SCV (MGN280) Category 6 certification (12 pax +3 crew).
Built in 1981 she completed a major refit in 2021. This refit not only brought her up to date but was designed to make her, operationally, as maintenance free as possible. All timber seating, decks, engine box etc were removed and she was fitted with zero maintenance Nidaplast / GRP decks, seating, engine box, companionway ladders and more. The hull was repainted, engine overhauled, new wiring and electrics installed, new windows and additional flotation buoyancy added under the main deck. This well designed and thought out refit includes the inclusion of engine box access panels for swift general engine maintenance, deck wash pump, and easily accessed skin fittings
The vessel is offered for sale with relevant documentation including heel test (2021) all LSA and deck gear as detailed on the respective SCV2 (available on request) except for liferaft which is on hire. Passenger Ship Certificate valid to 16 April 2025.
Faldore is currently operational in current certification and would be well suited to a wide range of commercial activities for the future owner. Subject to agreement, the current owners are willing to assist with Loadline Exemption Certificate to move her to the mainland (Newlyn) if onward transport by road is preferred by her new owner after completion of purchase.
